Valuation Associates prepare rigorous, well-documented opinions of value across tax, financial reporting, and transaction matters — work that has to satisfy auditors, the IRS, and fiduciaries.

Responsibilities

  • Build valuation models using income, market, and asset approaches.
  • Prepare clear, audit- and authority-ready valuation reports.
  • Research market data, comparable transactions, and empirical studies.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to refine conclusions and support review.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • 2–4 years of business valuation experience.
  • Progress toward ASA, ABV, or CFA credentials is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and documentation skills.
